Sneak Peek: What’s on the Agenda for ADHD Awareness Month 2025

Every October, ADHD Awareness Month reminds us that ADHD is more than a diagnosis; it’s a whole-person experience. At Agave Health, we’re going beyond any single conversation to explore how ADHD impacts daily life, from the workplace to mental health and beyond.

This year, we’re shining a light on the bigger picture of ADHD: how it shapes work, health, and everyday life. We’ll explore the challenges, the strengths, and everything in between.

ADHD at Work

ADHD doesn’t stop at the office door. Many of the most common ADHD struggles—like time management, prioritization, and task initiation—show up most vividly in the workplace. But so do ADHD strengths: creativity, intuition, resilience, and the ability to see the big picture.

We’ll share stories and strategies that highlight how ADHD shows up at work, and how both employees and employers can benefit from building more ADHD-friendly workplaces.

ADHD + Mental Health

ADHD rarely travels alone. Anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation challenges often overlap, amplifying daily hurdles.

This month, we’ll explore the connections between ADHD and mental health, shining a light on the emotional side of ADHD and why whole-person support matters.

And Beyond

ADHD shapes more than just work and mental health; it touches every part of life. From parenting and relationships to aging and how we rest and recharge, ADHD is woven into daily experience.

We’ll also explore the everyday realities of ADHD—highlighting the broader experience and creating space for more understanding, empathy, and support in daily life.

Why It Matters

ADHD is more than a focus issue—it’s a way of experiencing the world. By raising awareness across work, mental health, and daily life, we can:

  • Break stigma and replace shame with understanding

  • Help employers, families, and communities create environments where ADHDers can thrive

  • Provide practical strategies and resources that empower people to navigate challenges and embrace their strengths
